7.3 2000 F350 Driving down the road at any speed and the truck acts like it misfires or sputters but does do it as hard or as much once truck is warmer any sugestions

 

im haveing the same problem on my f450 but when it warms up it still does it. does yours die on you while driving

 

We have an 02 in right now for similar issues. Cold it lopes and stumbles. Overall power is down. We removed the Edge Juice w/Attitude and things got better, but its still not right. In the morning we are going to check fuel pressure from the lift pump. Also, we set a code for #2 contribution fault, so could have an injector heading south. ICP seemed to be normal. Hope this helps.

 

I had a similar problem with my 1990 idi just a few weeks ago, there was a crack in one of the fuel lines in the return line system that goes from injector to injector. The trucks yall mentioned are much newer but could possibly suffer from the same issue. I pulled the line off at the injector pump, turned my air compressor down to about 15 psi and pressurized the return line system, then replaced the hose that had diesel leaking out.
