my 95 was acting up and the sending unit in the tank was bad ........
but the frist sing is the fuel gage quits workin ( mine didn't work for about 3yrs. then it started chugin then went out .the line like to rust out.)

i put 4k governor springs in and now it's not cutting out and i replaced the return line washers.

Hows it run? The new pump may have had the governor set a little too loose.

its running alot better than it ever has. it slipped the clutch a lil bit yesterday and it's never done that yet. and it white smoked the tires in the parking lot.

but i have a question after i put the governor springs in my idle dropped bout 200 rpms and i have the 4k springs in and it will only go to 3000 and stop there

how many soft and hard clicks did you do when you put the springs in? and what ppump are you running?

running a ppump off an 8.3 not sure what size on that. i got the clicks figured out and i got it to go to 3200. i stopped due to not having 60lb springs in yet.

whats a ppump off an 8.3 supposed to do for you? i set my spings at .80 and i can get it up to 4000rpm

i just got the 8.3 cuz it was cheap and convenient. na i don't want to float the valves i can take mine up to 4000 rpms to i just don't yet. i did it once to know i could but i'm going to wait to get too crazy. college costs money
