hi all my 1991 f250 4wd i just noticed that my lower drivers side ball joint is completly shot. i will be changing it soon. a few pointers or tips would be great. any instructions great too thanks tim

it is also a 4600 lb axel if that helps at all

 

Ball joint tool, torch, bigass sledge, hammer, bitching and moaning. Make sure you have the HD balljoints if you happen to have an HD front axle, sometimes parts counter boys give out the standard duty balljoint and it is much too small.

 

ya i got all that stuff and it went pretty easy and ya lots of bitching after i ran the torch across my hand!!!
