Default omg my poor 01 cummins

took off for my trip thanks giving night. got about 150 mile out and my torque converter quit locking so i was like 2200 rpms doing 70mph. if i applied more throttle it would eventually lock and i could feather it back to cruising speed and it would stay locked for a while. no problem. i was almost to the dirt road and all the driving would be in 1st or 2nd from there.

checked my fluid and it was fine. just changed the filter like 800 miles before.

i did beat the truck pretty hard last weekend but not abusive.
broke the fuel level sender no problem. float wore out and fell off the arm
and when the torque converter locked randomly on the way back to camp after getting caught in a snow storm in the mojave preserve sat afternoon. spun it and hit a burm ( couldnt help but laugh as i called it in to my buddies)
anyways before the spinout
truck threw a bunch of codes finally saturdaymorning.
0122, did a tps reset
0500 ,replaced in october still throws code
0460, prob cause the fuel level float
1682, beats me it charges. no problem with batteries, they are 6 months old.
1687, another one that gets me everything works.
1740,
1392,
half this stuff baffles me. any ideas?

i did have a blast and it didnt leave me stranded,

Sounds to me like you must have a bad ground(s) somewhere; almost guaranteed. The speed sensor thing could be from the front wheel ABS if you have 4 wheel ABS. I would certainly think though that the majority of your problems are coming from either bad grounds, or corroded connectors somewhere in your system...

that would make some sense, after 2 years of self lubricating the chassis.
ill check the ground at the body and engine when i get back from portland. gotta drive a box van there and leave tonight.

thanks
