they were reman ones but the copper was new and now it will idle fine without smoke but soon as i put it in gear and try and go it just dies and falls on its face. it still wont start without ether tho. everyone ik has told me it the injection pump sound plausable?

i would lean to the injectors bein tested to make sure there not a problem there

Buzz test your injectors. See if they come back good. Did the injectors come with new o-rings? Did you oil the injectors before you installed them?

yea they came with new o-rings and coppers but in the manual it didnt say i needed to oil them is that sumthing i should have done? nd is it to late to do so?

Yes, the injector o-rings should've been oiled. It's only to help the injectors slide in without damaging the o-rings and seat properly. I usually just cut the top off a quart of oil and dip each injector. It's very likely when the injectors were slid in the o-rings were tore up some letting fuel and oil go places it shouldn't. If they're damaged, there's nothing you can do. The o-rings should be replaced every time the injectors are removed. The cheapest place I've found to get them is on Ebay. Just look for the ones made by Alliant. They're a reliable manufacturer. Hope this helps.
