Remand Bosch injectors, dealer installed, run $600 per injector. New Bosch injectors run around $350 per injector. Aftermarkets run about the same as new, but that's if yours are still good enough to rebuild. Plus you have to wait for em to work on em.

I"ve always heard Black smoke=fuel, Blue smoke=oil, White smoke= coolant, is this not right?

Excess fuel or not enough air gives black smoke but a bad injector dumping fuel which doesn't get burned will cause white smoke but you should be able to smell raw fuel in the exhaust if it is unburned fuel. Low compression can also cause unburned fuel.

White smoke is usually diesel that has been atomized but not combusted. Usually in a CR it is either an injector stuck open or a serious timing issue.

Black smoke is fuel that has been combusted however lacked the proper amount of oxygen to support full combustion.

You can smell raw fuel in the exhaust. Runs fine at higher rpms just smokes when idling and makes a popping noise

It is time to pull the injectors While they are out would be a good time to check the compression also.
