Default snowlvr 6.4L wont go

was looking for an answer on my 6.4L ford....it acts as though the dpf or doc is clogged.... runs decent however restricted when first started warm or cold, then a few minutes of normal driving brings on a surious amount of mhat seems to be lag....and will only produce about 70% of hp.....if i ignore the problem and keep driving it seems to go into a backdown mode or something and wont accellerate at all, if i lay on the go pedal it will slowly build enough boost to take off...and i mean slowly. if it sounds like the dpf like i thought, i will delete it....any suggestions???

Remove the boxes and see if it helps. Chances are you lost an injector and it melted the DPF.

it has thrown several codes, one is a turbo performance code , the others are dpf and egr codes which lead me to believe that it is the dpf or doc causing the problems....computer reading to much backpressure and shutting it all down.....also will throw MAP/EBP corelation code from time to time

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i have had the boxes off with no change in performance...

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

has also had out of ordinary EGTs....does that help??

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

once had an injector curcuit code and took it to ford..... they siad it was the juice that caused it...i sent it back to EGDE and they sent me a new unit.....havent had any problems w anything for a while outside of ford replacing the radiator and normal recall B>S>

if it lost and injector would it throw a code for that?? the dpf is an easy fix, the injector idea however is not........

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

no....the thing semms to run fine till you step on the go pedal

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

no funny noises at all and runs smooth, just seems to not want to go...like it has a Fing apple in the tailpipe

As far as I know, it won't throw a code if an injector went out.

I suppose you tried driving down the road to try and unclog the DPF.
