wouldnt the truck shutter and run rough with a lost injector.....it dosent seem like that is it, i mean im new to diesels but when its time for that specific injector to do its job there would be a blank.....cuasing a shutter or cut-out so to speak...right??

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i drove the thing 230 miles running like this last wknd in an atempt to do that very thing with no avail.....somthing else that caught my attention is that on a trip like that the truck normally would regerate about 3 times...when it only did one time on the way home....

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

have been putting off the dpf delete and tunes from spartan....what do you think i should do bout this little delema?????????

tried that..and without stock everything they wont even read the codes and i dont have the stock intake or exuast....so thats why im asking here, and not there

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

the factory exuast had to be cut to get it off, and the air intake was disposed of properly by throwing it in the dumpster at my house

Could also be bad turbos, or the DPF is throwing it into limp mode.

hope its not the turbo(s) OUCH!! but limp mode makes sence, becuase when it does spool boy does it spool, sounds fine etc. just really acts like its got a apple in its mouth and a ---- in its booty..

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

aslo when the truck did regen, it seems to run pretty good, i mean for a regen...no lag at all and plenty of poop, just no top end ....total opposite of how its been running normal

well, still no change in condition...i have noticed however if i baby the truck it runs pretty good (except for the terrible lag).... when i decide to push it alittle is when the egr trouble code will throw, and the problems start............maybe this bit of info will help

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i still think it is the DPF... i was counting on it plugging premature becuase of the stacked tuner and module on the truck for such a prolonged period of time.....anyhoo its not fixin itself and im still waiting on funds for the delete... i did check w/fomoco about stock dpf-back piping and air intake, itll be about a grand for both..as a last resort that may be an option to just return the truck to OEM and bring it in for the FORD guys to figure out

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

what might happen if i remove the dpf before i get the kit??

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

will the truck regen constantly or the same....maybe not at all......and does anyone think im wrong in assuming the dpf would clog prematurely because of the stacked tuner and module on the truck????

Default 6.4L no-power blues

08 6.4L with 26000 miles, starts fine and runs good till warms up then will still run fine if i baby the thing, however if i try to take off fast the thing wants to lag up REAL bad...then will through the egr code, map/ebp corelation, turbo performance codes....after this the simptoms get worse and worse untill the truck runs smoothly but will not accell.....i mean i can stand on the thing and it wont even bark............please help

the truck since bought new in january of 08 ahs had afe stage 2,mbrp filter back pipes, and edge juice/attitude stacked w/a superchips cortex

Default still no go

its to the point now that im not driving the thing at all....ive heard several cuases for my issue and the only two that make sence are the plugged dpf, and the BUY-BACK issue that NO one seems to know what caused it.....hoping someone can help,

again the truck is a 6.4L f-250, afe stage 2, mbrp filter-back pipe, and edge juice w/attitude stacked ontop of a superchips cortex....6in fabtech lift, 37in rubber, and lots of electronics

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

i have noticed that the exsuast seems to be baffled, both in sound and flow...i mean it used to blow ur hat off and singe your eyebrows if u got to close...now it barely blows ur hair back

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

im affraid that if i drive it like this it will only make things worse.............someone please, some info

try taking all the performance boxes/programmers off an let the truck regen on its own. see if that helps.
