---AutoMerged DoublePost---

my engine in my ford is Not the sme thing as a cummins..nor does it act like a cummins when problems arrise...i understnd that they are all diesels but advice from dogde lovers is comenly enough (seell the ford for a dodge attitude) . i use this truck for my business and time is money..........thanx for the RUNAROUND!

For one I take this completely personal. I have had many trucks, have worked on many diesels and every day try to better myself in knowledge on any diesel I can read and learn about, from 4bt's to Duramax's to Detroits, to Internationals to Perkins to the old Cummins in my old *** Dodge ram sittin' in my driveway that is paid for.

I try to help ANYONE that needs helps and actively seeks it. I'm not a brand "racist" I like all diesel owners, I miss my old Powerstroke every day but I'm not going to run out and buy a new one just so I can "prove" that an answer to a question is valid on my part. I have a family to take care of and can't afford a new truck payment.

So that being said I am sorry if because of my choice of vehicle my answers weren't valid enough for your narrow mind to accept them as the help you were asking for, then try them, and hope that it fixed your problems so the dealer wouldn't void all your warranty because you had 2 aftermarket programmers on the truck.

I am sorry you know more than me about your truck. Go fix it yourself and tell us what YOU did to fix it since we don't know anything and keep giving YOU the run around...... BTW the regen that i keep talking about in my 3 other post is the regeneration process where the DPF gets cleaned when it is clogged up. it sounds like it is clogged up from too much fuel (soot from too aggressive fueling) from 2 programmers.....

No worries - we have thick skin BUT

Im sorry, but when you a new member of a site - its probably a good idea to treat people with courtousy and respect - at least until you know them or are a regular member of the site.

You are a new member here and have been treated with nothing but respect here. It is well beyond our control that your Ford brothers have not taken it upon themselves to chime in and help you out. In good faith, a number of people have tried to help you and your response was not acceptable. What specifically are we supposed to do to make sue you get an "acceptable" answer to your questions? Exactly, what else could we have done to help you out?

We cater to ALL BRANDS of DIESEL.

still benjamin, the comments that i have apologized for twice now, were not aimed specifically at you. or the cummins comunity, it wasent ment to strike a nerve either..i only ment ( obviously worded wrong) that i didnt feel as though the advice given made sence...you know could be this...or maybe, this....my bad! didnt mean AT ALL to make you feel obligated to a response either. once agian and for the last time i am sorry for any toes stepped on or house floors crapped on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its forgotten.

Now lets try to get you some help.

I dont know anything about Fords or much about EGR for that matter but it seems to me that with 2 fuel boxes you may be running too much fuel and the DPF is having trouble dealing with it. Does that not seem sensible?
