Truck won't start?
I own a 99 Dodge cummins. Recently it has been parked becuase i need new tires. I start it up every once in a while so that she knows she's gonna be driven again one day ha. But anyway. I started it up, revved her a bit, got her warm. Then shut her off and tried to start it again. It cranked and cranked but didn't start. I noticed that the "wait to start" light doesn't go on either, I asked someone about it and said it was my lift pump, could it be anything else as well?

I have cracked it open, and there was fuel on the fourth through sixth cylanders, but not the first or third, can't get the air horn off to see the second. I sprayed some starter fluid for diesels in and it still didn't start...

Hook a jump charger up to it and try.
The pump is electronic...if you've been sitting for a while, starting, stopping, etc...you may have reached a point where the battery capacity is being used up by the starter with little to nothing remaining to power the electronic engine control system.
It is actually quite common....cranks fine, no start. Tell someone they need batteries and they look at you like you have a ***** growing out of your forehead.
Worth a shot...just to see...

How about the Check Engine light..does it come on when you turn the key on?
With key on, engine off...the check engine light should stay on.
If not...along with the no wait to start light issue...the computer may not be communicating or getting power.
Check your fuses.

The check engine light will come on, but it doesn't stay on. I've checked fuses, none blown except one, and i accidently blew that one myself it was the engine control fuse, but it wasn't blown before i don't think.
