Ok so i am in toledo and i think i am in need of a new or working injection pump, but none of the yards around me have one. So does anyone on here have a good one they will sell. Also how hard are these to purge the air out of. Its my first so im kind of learning as i go. I think i rebuilt the pump right but i cant get it to turn over yet. If i can start it on some spray wont it run the air out on its own? or do i have to crack open the injector. Which im afraid to do since its an 83 and its pretty rusty.
Any help would be much appreciated. I just want to get this old work truck up and running so i can start playing around with it to make it run better.

 

here are cheap injection pumps that should work.

Pensacola DB2 Reman Pumps

as long as you run the lift pump on the truck a couple times to prime the system and everything else is good it should start. if it doesnt crack an injector and see if yor getting fuel. if you are you got other problems
