Default Shift points

I recently replaced the OEM Intake with the Amsoil INJEN DIESEL INTAKE on my '07 Dodge Cummins and my shift points have changed. How do I get them back to where they should be. Low end gears seem to change to early and the shift to overdrive don't occur until 50 MPH.

No programmer. Everything's stock with the exception of the intake.

Sorry to ask, but your not pressing down on the accel pedal any harder??

Nope. around town is the hardest because with the speed limits below 45, fuel mileage really sucks. Unless, I speed up past 50, shift into overdrive then back off to about 40 MPH. Any slower and it downshifts back to "Drive".

My brother told me I needed to reset the onboard computer but neither of us know how. He said once I did that, the computer would set the shift points according to my driving habits and the new air flow from the air filter. He seems to think it's because the vacumn has changed.

I'd double check your plugs, could just be a bad connection.

buy a stick shift. ha ha just jokin my 07 chevy started doing this same thing, i just ignore it, but then again its works problem with the fuel.

He's probably refering to the plugs for the sensors. I'd be sure you didn't knock anything loose installing the intake.
