Shift points
I recently replaced the OEM Intake with the Amsoil INJEN DIESEL INTAKE on my '07 Dodge Cummins and my shift points have changed. How do I get them back to where they should be. Low end gears seem to change to early and the shift to overdrive don't occur until 50 MPH.

Any body got any ideas? Sure like to get it back to normal.

You using any type of programmer?
|
No programmer. Everything's stock with the exception of the intake.

My brother told me I needed to reset the onboard computer but neither of us know how. He said once I did that, the computer would set the shift points according to my driving habits and the new air flow from the air filter. He seems to think it's because the vacumn has changed. |
I'd double check your plugs, could just be a bad connection. :U:

What plugs? |
He's probably refering to the plugs for the sensors. I'd be sure you didn't knock anything loose installing the intake.
