Well, if you have ANY idea of which ones need to be disconnected or bypassed or whatever, that would be awesome 2500HeavyDuty!

I dont understand how they can fail your truck when it comes from the factory like that. It is not like you changed something. Does everyone in Canada have to do this?

Nah, my truck is originally from TX. I didn't realise that GM had 2 different DRL setups for Canada/USA
I passed my provincial inspection and I got plates a long time ago, but they're hassling me about the stupid Federal Regulations on DRLs.
If I can't fix it, I'm thinking I might just try and slip the guy $100 to let it go. Not like it matters that much, they're just ridiculously picky about this garbage.

those canadians should also consider pulling a fuse or relay to be another way to "disable" the DRL's, that sucks you have to do that. i bet if you pull switch out and find the circuit that gets activated when you turn the switch to the left then you can probably omit that wire. thats what i would try.

Well hell that is news to me! I did not know that a canadian truck was different from ours. (other than KPH vs. MPH) . Call G.M. and tell them you need a Canadian light switch! Good luck!
