ok guys heres the big one got home from the college today and let my truck sit for 5 minutes at home, came back out and sludge dripping from truck. looked inside radiator is full of sludge, my guess is blown head gasket, hope not though. oil level is still good. i pulled #1,2,3 valve cover and oil looks fine. cant figure this one out, sluge is gray in color and texture of oil. i always let my truck finish cycling befor moved and let thermostat pop befor i go over 10psi of boost

 

are the rad hoses hard?

 

Could be the oil cooler tank in the side of the radiator. They've been known to fail like that.

 

oil pressure is more that water pressure so oil goes into water easier try the cooler in the rad.

 

were would it be in buy the radiator its a 94 do they even have those, its a 5 speed if that makes a difference, another question could a exhaust brake with stock head gasket and 280,000 mile couse a head gasket to fail

i have no idea if the radiator lines are hard but the over flow is full of this crap and when you pull the cap off the radiator it pours out

 

Let it sit overnight. Then in the morning, remove the cap and start it. If fluid blows out, head gasket is leaking.

 

well i dont think there is much more room for fluid with as much damn oil is in there

i started it up awile ago let it run for a good 10 minutes with the cap off no fluid came out but the sluge stuff did, i cant find a damn oil coller on this thing and no none of the radiator lines are hard just as soft as normal

 

The oil cooler is pretty hard to miss. Look down at the radiator. One side (pretty sure driver's) will have some 1/2 or so diameter lines running to the side of the radiator. One of the lines is toward the top of the radiator and the other will be directly below the top one near the bottom of the radiator. You can't "see" the tank. It's part of the radiator.

 

Do you have a built in tranny oil cooler (in radiator)? if you have a bad head gasket you should see the coolant in your oil as well...

 

no coolant in oil at all, just got running her, let the thremostat pop and removed the cap, hit the throttle full bord a few times and there is no pressure what so ever just alot of volume, this must mean its the oil cooler right, wouldnt there bee a ton of pressur in there if it was a head gasket
