Well I went and borrowed my Dads Duramax and our flat bed last night and sadly rolled my truck on to the trailer. I tore into it today at work and found that the compressor blade on the turbo is missin two fins but that was the least of my worries. What i found that really worried me was when i pulled the head and found the intake valve on #1 was jammed shut side ways in the valve and the exhaust valves (both) on number five were both caked black and jammed in the head as well. I have called Cummins and left a message I'm waiting for them to call me back. That should be warrentied because that was nothing of my doing. I'll see what they say.

The way they are in there they are crooked in the head so its all jacked up. i want the whole thing replaced because the intake valve on number one is bent and if it did it that time I'm sure it would do it again on the same head so i hope Cummins has a fix for it and can ship me a new head.

thats strange, i wonder what caused it to jump out of timing to smash the valves, did a valve spring break

One of the springs on the two exhaust valves on #5 broke but all the rest looked fine. What i think happened is the waste gate on the turbo slammed shut and opened again and it cause the truck jump out of time and defuel and the refuel really hard and cause those valves to slam open and shut really fast and it jammed them. The more i think about that the more it makes sense. I also had my Edge on level six so I'm sure that didnt help any.

oh well if you can get them to warranty it then no harm but if you have to buy a new head that sucks and with all the soot on the valves im guessin there gonna ask some questions
