Default Fuel Filter

I have a 2007 3500 with a 6.7. I can not find any parts houses in my area that sells them, they all say its a dealer item only. When I need a filter change on the road I need to carry my own filters and I think I can buy the fuel filter only thru the dealer and I think its alot of crap. You would think NAPA or Auto Zone would have them since the truck ia over a year old, HELP. HANK

This a Fleetguard filter number. If you have a nearby Cummins shop, they should have them.

Since I go to Vegas all the time I went to the dealer and bought 2 filters, 1 to keep as a spare. In Calif the dealers charge $21.00 plus tax per filter, in Vegas they charge $18.00 per filter. Thanks for the advice anyway

Mainly cheaper...but also when I buy a filter that says fleetguard on it - I KNOW its a Fleetguard.

DC can (and does) source filters from different manufacturers. Granted, the diesel filters most likely come from Cummins - but who really knows?
