Coming home from a long amazing camping trip on the coast, pulling a 30ft trailer and my tranny goes bye bye. .. smoke everywhere. .. Fluid pourin out. .. and all this about 2 hours away from home. Finally got the family towed home, truck in driveway and have to figure out what to do. I'm guessing my tranny is shot. What I'm asking for is either a good shop around northern California, maybe someone has an e40d layin around, maybe a vendor can make me a deal. I don't know. Just looking for help.
