have a 02 cummins about a year ago my ecu went out and replaced it worked fine now havin some of the same issues cutting out buckin white smoke sometimes black smoke others it started drivin home on the interstate in 5th cruzin it started cutting out just a sec and few seconds later agian for around twenty miles the next day it was worse dead petal white smoke ext replaced ecu agian and it didnt help it was used any sugestions it has edge comp box cold air and fass

havent checked yet i forgot wat the codes wer when we scaned it its been sitting for a mounth tryd the ecu today it was worse tac iol press and temp gauges didt work the ecu was off a 99 truck

 

Yeah they read differently than the later ones. I would see what codes are there and then lets us know

 

found also coolant is seaping out of the passanger side in the front next to the ther housing but no fluid in the oil yet and its very so leak

done the key trick to get codes mind you my ecm is not on the truck yet weather sucked here today pcm had `0122 0123 1693 still havent check fp bc ecu not on the truck yet apps ??
