New Member/Longtime Diesel Owner
I'm officially a member of this site but I've visited this site in the past when looking for answers dealing with my 1994 7.3l turbo diesel Direct Inject. Even with 296,000 miles my truck runs great "when it wants too" Besides Air ride suspension and a 4inch lift my truck is factory In the past 100,000 Miles I've replaced the HPOP, Clutch, Injectors, Fuel Pump, Glow Plugs, CPS twice, Computer, Starter Twice, and more. My Oil pump reservoir drains off if it sits more than 2 days without being started "Some sort of check valve so I've been told" My dad has a 99-7.3 powerstroke and from our experience we've decided the best thing for them is to beat the sh*t out of them both our trucks have been pulling skid loaders and dump trailers since they pulled off the ford lot brand new. Every truck will have some problems Ford, Dodge, Chevy breakdowns don't discriminate. But with routine maint. and tender loving care any truck can be worth its weight in gold ive been offered cash money numerous times to sell my truck but my plans are to drop a new motor and restore it once it finally gives up. I remember riding in my truck when i was just a young boy and someday i hope to have a son of my own and hopefully he will drive it someday if i can bring myself to letting him have it.
