Default IM NEW NEED HELP WITH 1997 12valve

Hey I need some advise cause I really don't know much about my truck and I want more power and I have a few mods but I'm afraid of hurting my motor.... What I have done so far is cold air blocked wg on turbo cut off big *** muffler waiting on straight pipe to come in so cat will be eliminated and turned star wheel maybe six times towards valve cover... I have read and read about injection pump tuning and fuel plate modding along with afc modding if I do those the fuel plate and afc mod will that hurt my mote please anyone I need help this is my baby

well i think your in the wrong section for this kinda question. but i removed my fuel plate the power differance was awsome and it hasnt hurt my truck at all. it did blow the exhaust pipe off and my transfer case started leaking but i dont think that was related. but prepare to see your milage suffer its impossible to drive it respectfully with the added power i had to put mine back in i couldn't take 14-15 mpg on the interstate. i slid it full foward and still noticed a alittle improvement over stock.
