well guys id like to annouce that i bought that cummins today. going to go pick it up this weekend hopeully tomorrow so now its on to figure out whats the first mod for it.

for a stock tranny not makeing huge power, replace the converter with an aftermarket one and get a beefier valve body, that should do you fine.

Welcome and congrats on the buy! But as others said buy gauges and beef up that tranny even a small power upgrade can take them out. Make sure on your gauge list is a fuel pressure gauge. I had gauges awhile back and lost fuel pressure, replaced my lift pump and saved my vp-44 SAVED ME BIG $$$$$$. A few months ago my gauges took a dump on me and just a week ago I finally got around to replacing them, the other day I lost fuel pressure again. Gauges do save you on money in the long run im proof twice and many other's as well.
