Hi all! My name is Jeremy and I'm an avid reader of the forums; trying to soak up what I can and learn from those who know better than I. I have had a couple of Dodge 24v trucks before, but I got the bug to get into a 12v. I found a beautiful 1995 xcab lb 4x4 2500 in CA that needs a tranny rebuild for $3800. The motor and pump are completely stock. I ordered a 4k GSK, 60lb springs, KDP kit, #100 fuel plate, and a boost elbow. I also figure the truck will need some AFC tuning and a timing adjustment. I am eager to dig into this thing, but I'm a little skidish about doing these things by myself for the first time simply from reading online help.
I'm in Petaluma, CA (40m north of SF) and would be happy to pay anyone who is close enough to me for some help and guidance through it all.
