The main reason I joined is to read up and ask a few Q's on a cummins pickup. I have several powerstrokes (hence the name) and have recently decided to buy another dodge for whatever reason....now the damn thing is sick and gets 11mpg and i gotta do something about it, I have twin turbo'd cummins in the past but dont want to do it again to a brand new truck because of driveability issues that always seem to follow.....

I am about to get my 5th new cummins diesel and they all had one thing in common, and that is the fuel mileage sucks for the first 7 to 10K

Deleting the DPF will help the mpg's
