Ford 2003 F350 won't start

Can I bypass the compressor? with a shorter belt?

Ya you should if you open the hood you should have two belt routing diagram one with the ac compressor and another without hopefuly the ac not in the way of the belt. Good luck Ill keep trying to give ya answers

There is no way an AC clutch is keeping the truck from starting.

Did we ever figure if this was a 6.0 or 7.3???

Does it have blinkers in the mirrors or not?

CSIPSD its a 6.0L has blinker in the mirrors. And ya the ac wont keep the truck from starting. I belive its the cranks sensor and ther a pain in the *** to get to on those 6.0L

It does have the blinkers on the mirrors... there are two diagrams under the hood and we finally got a 20 inch smaller belt to bypass the AC compressor.. and it WORKS!!! THANK GOD!!! its cranking and running with no problem! thanks for all the help

I cant understand how a stuck AC clutch would keep the truck from running? But glad its working for you...

the AC Clutch was bent and the compresser was locked up keeping the belt from turning.
