Hey party people, new 2000 f-250 7.3L owner as of last thursday. The past week has been great with my truck so far.
Question: Apparently in 2000 they did something with forged internals in the powerstroke, wondering if thats true?
Also, besides the listed mods done, any other simple things to do, and what should I set my EGT max too? 1050? I also looked briefly into the wastegate mod, but the forum I looked at didn't have many good pictures or lists of steps. Wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction.

Welcome to the site!!! Post up any tech questions you have in the 7.3 section and you will have much better luck!
2001 IH changed to Powdered Metal Rods over the Forged Rods the earlier trucks had... No issues until you get over 425-450hp
EGT's for PRE-TURBO is 1250*... Thats what IH tells us.
Wastegate mods... Post up down there and we can go from there!
