I’m working on a project truck and for the first time I’m going with an automatic transmission which I know NOTHING about. I have a 76 Ford I’m setting on a 2003 f-450 fwd frame and dropping in a DT466c. It’s tuned up about 300hp and the transmission I think I need is an ALLISON 3060. My question is did they only make these transmissions electronic and if so can it be made to work with a mechanical motor??? Or do y’all recommend I go with something else entirely. Truck will be running all over the country and will pull a lot of loads. Any help is much appreciated!!!
