Intro confessions
Hey y'all, just a quick intro-
Have a '85 LHD Toyota BJ70 (CDN) with 377K on stock 3B / H55 setup, runs great minus the standard yota body rot and muffler leaks, especially for here on the west coast...
Also elbows deep in a 95 Chev K1500, 6.5L, which I got for cheap and has got to be the neediest truck yet ! But I need a pickup and am not afraid of getting dirty. Have to admit this is my first domestic diesel so... I probably shouldn't have gone for the 6.5L, but what the heck, they don't give away Cummins / Powerstrokes / Duramax, right? (unless you are giving one away, get a hold of me!)
Anyway, currently it's not the diesel that has the issue, I'm dropping the 4L80E because the direct drum is likely burned out. So that's fun.
Looking forward to the 6.5L support group! This one looks taken care of- rumor is it was a crate motor dropped in at about 200K but I'll look into it...
