'tis so true.... the bank wanted to know why i was spending over half what the truck was worth on a tranny for.....

 

...if you've ever manually downshifted an auto just to hear it rumble like a pete.
...if you can tell the difference in a dmax, 12valve, 24valve, commonrail cummins, and a powerstroke apart just by the sound...from a mile away....I can,can you?

 

..... if you can tell the sound of a 6.0 being pulled into the shop by a Cummins......

edit: and i am one of the few and proud that can say yes i can tell the differance of all of the above.....

 

if you named your child after diesel products(like Edge my son)

wife wouldnt go for diesel but if another boy maybe Bolt
