Default LB7 prime issues

Alright, since i have not personally driven my truck in 7 month, i am gonna let you all read what i was told. The Airdog 150 was recently installed, filter changed, bleeder screw changed to a billet screw to get rid of the plastic pos that GM used.

Disclaimer-My dad is the one who sent me this, he is not a diesel mechanic, matter of fact, the only diesel he has been around is my LB7.
Darin is a civilian contracted diesel mechanic in Afghanistan that is home for a few days.

"Got everything put back together, pulled out of garage to unload old exhaust pipe, when I put it in reverse it died. Primed with pump at filter, restarted, drove down past Johnny's and back, then to town. Ran good, felt a little rough when I got on it, thought it might have been from sitting so long or maybe some air because it got better the further I drove it. Stopped at Crystal Flash and put 10 in fuel so i wouldn't run out, was talking to Cody on phone and at Franklin St and 67 it died when I stopped. Primed again drove home no problem, ran good even under hard acceleration. Got home, mom and I were going to run over to D and B's and it died again, primed, restarted, and it died going down their driveway. Darin is there so he looked at it, and found air at the fuel rail when he loosened a fuel line. Primed and started again and he checked for air again, none. Let it run at idle for about 30 minutes, then backed up to turn around and it died when I stopped to put it in drive. I noticed then the air dog was not running. Discovered the air dog would not run with the truck in reverse. We moved the power connection and Darin primed it again. Dallas and Brenda both said they heard air when he pumped the primer. Darin said if the primer was bad letting it suck air that would cause a problem. Gonna drive it more tomorrow and will see if it dies now that the pump is running all the time."

Any ideas on what will solve this issue will be greatly apprciated. will keep this updated if things get better since he is gonna drive it some more today.

you got to make sure that the air dog has a good power source, ign for the relay and also hook the air dog to the alternator or battery then it wont be an issue,

i actually set it up so i can use my air dog to bleed my system after changing the fuel filter on the engine. make sure you do have it wired up right
