i still need to know more about the guages how to get them to work and the tranny issue....i caled around and found tranny mounts and a cross member for like 250.

Yea, just run a winder in yer firewall, so you know to let off when the turbo turns red..



Seriously though, gauges are easy.. You can get anything you need from one of our great vendors here.

to do a 12v swap you can use the tranny out of the blazer if it is a SBC bolt pattern. not sure what the pattern is. you can get the plate that bolts to the block from Cummins for a SBC pattern. it came behind the 4bt's in the frito-lay and bread trucks so it is a proven working part.

this is all the hard parts you would need to adapt to whatever you have.

as for the gauges, all the factory ones can work when using a little creativity. the tach would be the only exception as i'm not sure if it is a magnetic pickup like the cummins but you can always get an aftermarket one so it would work with the 6cyl. the origional one won't be correct from an 8cyl to a 6cyl if not a magnetic pickup.

you can use all the chevy sensors for oil and water temp and voltage, the oil and water temp might require some creative adapting but that can be done in the lowes fitting section.
