Default Any Suggestions?

I have a 03 2500HD Duramax 4x4 and im fairly new to diesels, I was wondering what should I do for some upgrades (performance chips, exaust, intake and such) but I don't want to have to upgrade my transmission. Excuse me for my ignorance cause im a newbie. Thanks!!!

If you do not upgrade the tranny I would be careful, but to start with you can mod the intake already have buy cutting out the triangle shaped section on the front of it...

You can also take the boost tubes off of it and spray them with Duplicolor spray on bedliner material to lower the intake temps.

Straight pipe the exhaust.

Put a smaller tuner like a Banks Ottomind for towing performance without hurting the tranny.

BTW, WELCOME to the site, there is a LOT of useful information here and some good people too!!!!

get some good exhaust and do the airbox mod. For a tuner I love my EFIlive and would suggest it to anyone. Any good vendor could set you up with a good tranny safe tune, plus if you ever feel the need for more power the possibilities are endless. We all know how addicting power is The scan tool with is is a great thing to have in case of problems, or improve you can use it to improve your tuning.

Airbox mod, exhaust and then a Predator. That will be just fine until you want more.
