Default truck died

so as i'm about to park at walmart my truck died. i thought i was out of fuel cause my light had come on before i left the house but i figured i'd be able to drive another 20 miles still. when i put mroe fuel in it it still wouldn't start. idk if i just flooded it or what. i'm hopin it'll start in the morning. if not i gotta get it towed back to the dealership and they will fix it.i'm pretty pissed that it wont start and really wanted to kick it. but decided that wasn't the best idea. my batteries aren't dead either. i didn't have anything come up sayin somethin was wrong so idk....

Any Ideas??

On the passenger side of the engine, underneath the intake plumbing, be the fuel filter. Should be a hand primer on top, pump on it till it gets hard. Engine should fire afterwards.

Because you ran it out of fuel, I'd replace the fuel filter first.

prime it till its hard, start it if no fire prime agian, only run the starter no more that 20 secounds at a time i know with my 12 valve cummins it takes a good 3-4 trys to get it to prime all the way and it will smoke like a mother just to give you a heads up

well i went back to walmart nd didn't find a hand primer on top or the bottom. it's an adelco fuel pump. i felt and looked on the bottom too and didn't see anything...

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

nevermind. i'm an idiot. i saw the stupid thing and didn't think. "hey that's the primer." i thought hey what the heck is that. i'm retarded and i'll go fix it tomorrow.

Mentioned new fuel filter cause you never know how much junk and water could've gotten sucked up from the tank. Hate to hear you lost a CP3 or injectors.
