95 dodge need help with timing took out pump for tappet cover replacement have all the correct tools for the job tried twice now to time truck both times failed any ideas why not sure I'm even at the correct time engaged both pins used snapon dial indicator was sitting at 7-0 how much should I go to achieve 15* of timing was really confused on how this indicator works sorry newbie at work here but don't want to pay to take to shop any info would be appreciated
