vanes could be not workin right on the turbo, or clogged air filter my guess. the dealer can check the vanes and service them if the truck is still under warranty

we checked those.
the truck smokes only when; we drive like grandama awhile then get on it, not necessarily floor'n it but almost and floor'n it. but this only happens once after you start it up, so if we drive like grandma for 2hrs and get on it or 2min. and get on it; but once you do it, it dont do it again till the truck is turned off and completely cooled down(usually sits overnight).

dont really care i think its just that little bit(use that term lightly) of fuel that gets used before the turbo spools completely. cuz im not talking a haze im talking pitch black to where i've seen people slow down to go through it. course my other theory is that it stock muffler acts like a 'smoke catcher" until we clear it out.

I traded my '08 2500 DMax for the dually. Tradein value was real good. I was going to put 4-5K in the '08, but the new one has all that, plus beat some emission changes.
I do not when to ruin my warranty, I do not need to tune,but... My brother has a 07 toy so I can get a thrill there.
Wheels are next but tire selection sucks to stay within oem height.
I want to add lock pick, waiting on advice.
