Hi all i have a 2007 chev 2500hd 6.6 i believe i have fuel leaking into oil
i was told can only be the fuel injector pump 0n this year truck, is this true,, can it be injector's or something else, plz help

 

do you know for sure that you have fuel in oil?? the only instance I have heard of this is cylinder wash down, from post or pre injections, but i dont think it happens much or if at all on the LMM... it was only an issue on the 6.7L cummins

I took it to a diesel macanic he said there is no other way fuel can get in oil
im not sure what he did to check it ,just told me would be aprox 1400 to 1900 to fix
pump also said pump is inside motor on this model truck

i change oil and in few weeks oil level will be 1 inch plus over
what should be in there?? i have check oil level when engine hot and when cold,

has about 202,000 miles

i have worked on gas motor but never diesel so not shure if this is a job i want to try..

any advise would be great
