i know that the turbo makes some noises on these trunks that are ok. but im getting a ticking sound at just a little over 1500 rpms right before it shifts. higher and lower rpms sounds like a sewing machine. i dont know if its the injectors making the sound or what. anyone else noticed this before just wondering if its normal? Thanks for any help.

 

that may be your engine running, it is a diesel and with the High pressure common rail it will make light ticking noises as apposed to a full on rattle, if the truck seems to be running fine and there are no engine lights, just keep listening to see if it gets any worse, with new engines it takes a while to adjust to all the new noises you may be hearing
