Default 06 dually tire question

got an issue, the truck came with 215/85/16's and they look way too small. from what i hear i need a spacer to run a 235/85/16? i dont want to put a 2" spacer on it and make a fist sized gap in between the rears, what have you guys done to run a little bigger tire on these trucks? btw its a 4x4 so i assume the front can clear 235's?

I run 235/85/16 and have had no problems with clearance or rubbing. With a load the tires still do not touch each others. Hope this helps.

I'd bet your truck came with 235/85r16's and someone put the smaller tires on. Look on the tag inside one of the doors (usually drivers door) and it will show what the original tire size was.

stock is 215, went ahead and put the 235's on dont really like small gap in between the rears, see any issues with running a 1/4" spacer in between the wheels?
