My dad has a 07 duramax LBZ with banks big hoss bundle you know from intake too tip. about 2 months after I installed it the truck had about 8000miles on it,and under hard acceleration it will stall and the PDA will say low fuel rail pressure. I have heard a couple of people say this is common in a d-max if so how can this problem be solved.

My lbz did the same thing, twice actually, when my filter was getting dirty. That was like a year ago and it has never happened since. I changed the filter and that was it. I put shims in anyway and a ported fitting from ppe.

As stated above, more than likely a dirty filter. Sometimes it doesn't take much.

this problem has occured constantly for the past 2 1/2 years and the filter has always been changed very regular my dad and I are maintnence finatics. Could it be that the motor is demanding more fuel than the stock pump can supply?
