STALLING

My dad has a 07 duramax LBZ with banks big hoss bundle you know from intake too tip. about 2 months after I installed it the truck had about 8000miles on it,and under hard acceleration it will stall and the PDA will say low fuel rail pressure. I have heard a couple of people say this is common in a d-max if so how can this problem be solved.:argh:

well a lbz usually dont need shims, when was the last time the fuel filter was changed

My lbz did the same thing, twice actually, when my filter was getting dirty. That was like a year ago and it has never happened since. I changed the filter and that was it. I put shims in anyway and a ported fitting from ppe.

As stated above, more than likely a dirty filter. Sometimes it doesn't take much.

this problem has occured constantly for the past 2 1/2 years and the filter has always been changed very regular my dad and I are maintnence finatics. Could it be that the motor is demanding more fuel than the stock pump can supply?

well try adding some shims then and see what itl do. does his pda show you what his rail pressure is?

no it just says low fuel pressure like A scanner would
