thanks for all the help you guys!!!here's my newest theory! is it possible that this truck has been reprogrammed already with a handheld unit so that my edge is essentially "stacked" with the program thats possibly still in my engine computer?just a thought there is a two or three way switch on the dash with cut wires under the hood???old programmer switch maybe???

 

if its a chrome or brushed alum ****, i would say either a TS or Banks chip.. I would want to find out where all the wires lead to.. could be a nest of things that you want fixed asap.

 

Have you checked for play on the turbo? A little side to side is normal. But if the compressor wheel (intake side) hits the housing or if it has movement when you try pulling/pushing out on the shaft, need a new turbo.

 

Sooooooo, this is a secondhand truck. You're best bet is to contact the previous owner and find out what he had/has on it.
