Default duramax turbo clamp

hi i just lost the clamp that holds both halfs of the turbo together when it happend the turbo separeted about a 1/4 of an inch and i cant get it to go back together. i dont know what i missing the dealer just had it they say its not there fault so they want all kinds of $$$$ and cant do that any sujestions on why the two wont go back together thanks

it broke in half so i got a new clamp but i cant seem to get the gap to close on the turbo its that big clamp right in the middle

did you make sure the turbo it self is ok?

started getting into it and it doesnt look good i pulled the two halfs apart just enough to look in and on the exhaust side the little parts im not sure what there called look like snowmobile clutch weights they fliped every wich way and one is jammed in the fins so i gota take it out and look into it more i guess the motors out now any hints on what i should look for to make sure its ok or should i just get another one

a stock replacement should not be hard to find, theres a few guys who probably have some stock ones laying round.
