i havean 05 lly with the five speed trans in it i was wondering how to go about changing the fluid in it its got 225000 miles and idk when the last time it was changed was so im gunna do it to be safe just wondering if anyone hade any suggesions about how to go about this thanks in advance for ur help

 

The allison has 2 filters, an external and an internal, if it was me me and I wasn't sure how long ago the oil had been changed with that many miles, I would change both. Buy the filters, drop the oil, change the filters, and refill with oil. Done deal.
