does a stock LLY truck smoke?

Old thread! When I first got mine it smoked pretty good for a stocker and my throttle was night and day compared to the bl's lb7. I got a heavier spring on the throttle now but before just the weight of my foot would drop it to wot

mine when stock smokes but i have manual 6 spped.. not dark but decent

your a lucky s.o.b to have a six speed manual wish i could have got one in my lly and i dont think they really do smoke my girl drives the lly its all stock other than a custom autozone exhaust tip she put on there once again but i will drive it and get on it hard and even try to lag it on the highway and i never get anything worth talking about honest

never had much smoke out of my lbz... a small puff when i layed into it hard, but nothing spectacular, even with a 360rwhp tune it hardly smokes

My dads gotta 2006 One ton thats bone stock and if you putter around for about a day and then put it to the wood from a stand still it leaves a pretty good sized cloud you can't see through!!

thats not right, mine never smoked that much... ever, the only way i could smoke that much is if i tuned it that way, not going to happen stock, period.

could have a tune still loaded, or a under the hood tuner still hooked up, or the could have upgraded the fuel pump.

After I took my 04lly muddin which is hard on any truck it smoked pretty good it was like I broke it in or something either that or I broke it.

your air filter is probable caked with mud
