Default Need some help.

Anybody wanna give me some directions on how to hook up my gauges? It's a boost gauge and a pyrometer gauge.

you'll have to drill and tap your exhaust manifold for the EGT, and im pretty sure you duramax guys also have to drill and tap the intake manifold also

i think i just have to drill and tap the exhaust manifold. GmcLbz (jim at upstate) explained it to me but my memory sucks so i keep forgetting what he said. plus he doesn't have an LB7 so he isn't sure about everything i have to do.

WHICH I JUST NOTICE I POSTED THIS IN THE WRONG DEAL FOR MY TRUCK...
NOT SURE WHY I DID THAT....
Would somebody like to move this thread to the right spot?

Pyro can be taped on the pass manifold in the back at the #7 cylinder the easiest. You'll see a nice flat serface facing upward.

Remove pass wheel and inner finder well. Locate the location I just described and drill a pilot hole. Just before you break through the manifold, put some grease on the drill bit and start the engine (very important). Drill through. Quickly change bits to the correct size, add grease to bit and drill through while the engine is still running. Don't forget safety glasses, metal will be coming your way. Tap the hole, with engine running and grease on the tap, and screw it all together.

Or go and buy a Dr. side BD manifold. It will have the pyro probe hole already tapped and you get rid of that restrictve stock dr manifold.
