ok so i did a burn out bout a hour ago then half mile down the road it starts jerking when i get on it and accelerate but wen i just drive normal and accelerate nice and slow its just fine i thought it was the tranny but when i put it in neutral and rev it, it does the same thing also it wont rev over 2000rpm it seems like its going into limp mode but no check engine lights are on i have a edge evo ht chip but it wnt come on wen i plug it in so i cnt check for codes its not the chip its my OBDII .................any thoughts??
and is it safe to drive for awhile as long as im easy on it i have to get to school and work everyday

If it won't go over 2000 rpm then it is in limp / engine protection mode.

Take it into an auto store and have them pull the codes. Most will do it for free
