Default New Duramax owner w/ question, please.

2001 GMC 3500 4x4; had fuel filter changed yesterday; all was well; drove it rest of afternoon, no issues. This morning; started then immediately died; open bleed valve and hit primer pump; seemed full; screwed valve to closed, pushed accelerator to floor and it started; no problems since; have started it 4 times since, still no problem.

Should I have the fuel filter "reseated"...??

I now the question sounds rhetorical, but I am about to hit the highway for TX, just want you fellas' thoughts.

Express Oil did it; they seemed okay....??

I am on the road, so I let them do it.

Should I try to tighten it? Looks like an oil filter wrench operation..??

Go ahead and check it, its just like an oil filter, of you are strong enough you can use your hands. They might of not primed the filter right...I mean fuel system with the pump on top of the filter housing.
