Default White smoke?!

My truck sat for 2 days and today when I started it, it was a little hesitant and puffed out a small cloud of white/greyish smoke.

Is this a sign of something?? Or should I worry about it? The truck is still bone stock

I would get your injector ballance rates checked out... might have one or two out of spec... pushing more fuel into the cylinders than should be

****. haha It puffed out i nice cloud this morning. Do dealers charge to get rates checked?

If the rates are bad, what am i hurting? does this mean i need to change injectors?

I am very competent with gas motors. this is my first diesel. Just looking for some info. Thanks

get it checked out first, then you can go from there

if the balance rates more than 4+/- in park or 6+/- in gear then you probably have a bad injector, if thats the case then yes you need to replace them, you can burn a piston if you run it too long like that, you could also be making oil, I would check your oil and see if it smells like diesel or not
