01 Transfer Case Model???

Default 01 Transfer Case Model???

I've got a 01 2500HD LB7 4wd... How/where do i find the model and/or assembly number(s) on the transfer case? Thanks

There is a round tag on the back of the t-case, near the drive shaft area. It will say New Process...bla bla bla

well, i guess my lack of knowledge would be there reason... I don't need the transfer case digits... sorry for the mix up... (btw, i did find the info on the t. case)

From my minimal research, i guess i meant the differential or front gear box (4wd - front drive mechanism)

Anywho, the reason being is i wanted to find a diagram of the thing to better understand how it all works and how the actuator engages/disengages... I wanted to get some general knowledge of it... Im a mad D.I.Y.er just cause i love it...

I believe because there are two different types of transfer cases. One with Auto 4wd and one without auto 4wd.

Also Brianwhiteram is correct. Simple little round tag on the backside of the t case. Usually metal with red writing on it.

the front Axel is an AAM 9.25
American Axle & Manufacturing (AAM) - Front Axles theres not a lot of info here, but I couldnt find much.. im sure if you poke around on the internet long enough you could find more info

Its Brite whiteram btw...
