Help! Im sellin my ford 6.0 for a 2001 duramax is it worth it?

Congrats on the 7.3. We have one at work, its a good reliable truck. Wouldn't mind having that one myself.

Good choice for the money. I only paid 12000 for my D-Max and it only had 73000 miles on it 2 years ago. now im up to 109000

thanx guys. Im lovin tha 7.3. i did notice the power diff but im fixin to chip it put a intake in it and straight pipe the exhaust so it should add some get up and go to it

The 7.3 is a real reliable engine just under powered. Onther upgrade you should look into is a upgraded compressor wheel like this one Xtreme Diesel's X-Wheel Compressor Wheel and a upgraded wastegate actuator Banks Power High Performance Wastegate Actuator #24401. Good luck with your truck
